Mt. Washington Auto Road – Attitash Mountain Village guests receive $5 off a 2-hour guided tour, or adult passenger FREE with a paid “Drive Yourself” toll at the Mt. Washington Auto Road ($9 savings.) Located just 25 minutes north of North Conway, NH on scenic NH Route 16, the Mt. Washington Auto Road’s unique location in Pinkham Notch provides spectacular views into the Great Gulf Wilderness and the Presidential Mountain Range as you drive yourself or take a guided tour to the summit of Mt Washington. The eight-mile scenic road to the top of Mount Washington is the highest peak in the Northeast. Operations are always weather permitting. Great Glen Trails – Attitash Mountain Village guests get FREE use of the trails system for biking, running, or walking and 50% off a 4-hour bike rental package. Great Glen Trails offers hiking trails, bike rentals, running & walking trails, and kayak adventures for families of all ages, all at the base of Mt. Washington.

Cranmore Mountain Resort is North Conway’s year round playground with something for the whole family, no matter what the season! Ski or ride from December through March, and even take a spin down the 10 lane Tubing park! When the lifts stop spinning, enjoy summer fun in the Mountain Adventure Park. Bretton Woods Canopy Tour year-round thrilling zip line adventure on the slopes of Bretton Woods! Participants are brought on an adventure that includes a network of platforms high up in the ancient hemlock trees connected by nine ziplines, two sky bridges and three rappels.  This excursion offers both a thrilling experience and an intimate look into the wilds of the White Mountains, with sweeping views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range. Time out depends on group sizes, with groups of 4+ averaging roughly 3 hours and up. Smaller groups should expect anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours. The longest zip is over 1000 ft. long and about 165 ft. high off the forest floor.

Attitash Mountain Resort located in Bartlett, NH, in the heart of the White Mountains and directly across the street from Attitash Mountain Village. Annual snowfall is 155″ and the ski season runs generally from early December to mid-April. Attitash has 67 trails with 310 skiable acres across two peaks, Attitash and Bear Peak. We operate 11 lifts; 3 quads, 3 triples, 3 doubles and 2 surface lifts.

Bretton Woods Horseback & Carriage Rides take the reins and go for a ride in New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains. Wildcat Mountain – Access the 4,062 ft. summit, and 2,112 ft. of vertical, in just 6 minutes via New England’s most powerful Quad chairlift. Wildcat’s 2,000 ft. base elevation and proximity to Mt. Washington produces an annual natural snowfall of over 200 inches. Wildcat has the most continuous vertical of any ski area in the White Mountains, and is the closest ski area to backcountry ski mecca Tuckerman Ravine. Wildcat, the first ski area established on the White Mountain National Forest, is located 100% on National Forest Land. 48 Trails on 225 acres. Beginner 25%; Intermediate 45%; Expert 30% Polecat Trail – longest ski trail in New Hampshire, 2.75 mile beginner trail from the summit.

Mount Washington Cog Railway – The Mount Washington Cog Railway is one of the world’s great rail adventures, and has been making its dramatic ascent to the summit of the highest peak in the Northeast for over 150 years. The Cog is the first mountain-climbing cog railway in the world. With an average grade of 25% (some sections approach nearly 38%), it’s also the second steepest! Motive power is primarily provided by a fleet of seven powerful biodiesel locomotives, each custom designed, built and maintained on site. And with a nod to its steam heritage, the railway also continues to operate a pair of coal-fired steam engines in the warmer months, both well over a century old. Located in the heart of the majestic White Mountains region of northern New Hampshire, Marshfield Base Station is 6 miles east of Route 302 on the western face of Mount Washington. Even the drive along Base Station Road is beautiful– every twist and turn reveals new perspectives on the Presidential Range. Make sure to stop for some pictures at Upper Ammonoosuc Falls, an impressive rocky cascade and popular swimming hole just a few yards off the road. And keep your eyes open for wildlife- moose and bear sightings are not uncommon along the Base road!

Conway Scenic Railroad opened as a tourist railroad in August of 1974. Its 1874 Boston & Maine station and surrounding property remain a North Conway Village icon, and all excursions depart from this location. Whether you choose one of our two Valley routes to Conway or Bartlett, or the legendary Crawford Notch Train, you will enjoy an old-fashioned railroading experience, traveling in vintage equipment over historic tracks. Coach, First Class, and First Class dining all are seating options. Children under 4 ride free in coach. In coach class, passengers may bring one small well-behaved dog. Except for service animals, dogs are not permitted in First or Premium class accommodation.
